New C7 S6 LH Aluminum Mirror Cap (w/ Audi Side Assist) $100 OBO
Hey guys, I just had to replace my passenger side mirror, including the cap, on my 2013 S6 (C7). I shopped around quite a bit for this part, and got a serious case of sticker shock at the Audi list price of $536. They go for $398.78 on AudiUSAParts.com. I was fortunate to find a set of new ones on eBay for $299 (plus shipping) for the pair.
As I only needed one (and hopefully will never need to replace my driver side mirror cap), I am looking to sell this LH side mirror cap for 2/3 of what I paid for it - $100 for one, plus $10 shipping. That's 81% off list and 75% off AudiUSAParts.
One thing I did notice is that there is a tiny (1/8") extra flange on this mirror cap (I believe it's European-spec) not present on my original one. Since it prevented proper fitment of the turn signal repeater, I sawed it off and had no issues (it's a part completely hidden by the turn signal section so you'll never see that it's been removed). You will see the flange on the bottom-left corner of the second photo.
All the mounting hardware is new and untouched. You can also see the part number here.
In this view you can just barely see the small flange that I believe has to be removed in order to fit a U.S.-spec car. It took me 20 seconds to remove the flange on the mirror cap I installed on my car.
For cars equipped with Audi Side Assist.
Flawless finish - it's new!
