The CD Changer came from 1996 Audi A4. It will fit the A4 from 1996-1997
and also will fit on all Cabriolets (1994-1998)
I used it for couple of months on my cabriolet. All of the cabriolets, as I know, has the pre-wiring in the trunk. Its under the plastic-carpet-cover of the trunk.
It may fit other models, like A6, and some early A8. Check if the connector is the same and should fit
It's working with no problems, It has the CD cassette and the bracket as show on the pictures
