Doesn't sound right....

Default You need to report them to SEMA. Because......

they are basically robbing you, and others with such false information.

http://www.enjoythedrive.com/content/?id=8124</a

Default Short answer is his dealer isnt paying out for crap on his car if he gets the exhaust...

not legal, but perfectly doable. The cost of court and an attorney will likely outweigh the cost of an independent repair facility. I have been a proud member of the voided warranty club since 15K miles. cheers! Mike

Exxxactly. It ain't legal, but they put the burden of proof on him....which isn't worth it.

If so, why the F did you keep the car and support Audi?
I want a S4, but I refuse to be treated like a bitch by Audi and the dealer.

Warranty is for pussies. Live fast, take chances. If you break it just fix it

Agreed.....when I can add an ADDITIONAL TWO HUNDRED+ HORSEPOWER with with a $5000 longblock that will be RELIABLE at 900rwhp level.

How much will it cost me to replace the 3.0TFFSI or DCT?
How much rwhp will both be able to take if replaced at those costs?

Sorry, but the fact that a $50k Audi can't be warrantied wih a tune and exhaust is pathetic and supports the common understanding that Audi is unreliable and expensive to maintain.
I have NEVER had a failure, let alone a warranty issues, with any of my Corvettes with tune and exhaust.

Remember, I went to the Audi dealer with full intention of buying a S4.

Evoshift, relax. If your new car doesn't break in the first 6 months it's probably never going to. Then you can tune it and not worry. If your car is like mine it'll never be in the dealership again after you buy it.

I waited about 3 years to put the software on mine and there was only 15,000 miles left on the warranty anyway. I track the hell out of the car and nothing is wrong. You just have to be smart and do preventative maintenance on an accelerated schedule.

The dealer should prove first that the cause of a problem is brought by the installed aftermarket exhaust before they can void certain warranty claim. See the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act of 1975.
