Default 2016 Q3
Since they showed the face lift Q3 at the Detroit Auto Show. I have put off my Q3 purchase. No rush, as my wifes X3 still has warranty remaining.

Does anyone know when orders will be accepted for 2016 Q3 models?

Umm no.

2015 Q3 were in dealer lots fall of 2014. Guessing 2016 Q3's will follow.

Just want to know when order will be released and when an order can be placed. Order guides for other 2016 Audi models are available.

Will the 2016 be built on the current Golf/A3 platform or is it still the old platform ?

You notice I was right to wait.

We get the 220 HP engine, the DSG, and the newer styling. We don't get the newer platform or MMI.

I am glad I waited.

To me the torque increase (my dealer said from 207 lb-ft to 258 lb-ft) is more striking and likely to be what makes the Q3 zippier in day to day driving situations, especially with an extra gear and quicker shifting.

2016 Order Guide lists 2.0 TFSI 200hp and TipTronic.

So does anyone have any idea when special order for the 2016 Q3 will become available?

I spoke to dealers and they all say special ordering the 2015 Q3 is not available anymore.
