Default 2016 Q3

I used the VIN decoder and looked up the info of the Q3. It is actually in transit with ETA this month. The invoice price shows $33,300 + $925 destination. The out the door price (tax is 9.50%) I was offered is more than $10K over the mentioned invoice price. Anyone knows if the invoice price is what the dealer paid?

My initial thought is that a delta between invoice and MSRP/sell of $10,000+ seems way too high on a Q3. How reliable/reputable is the VIN decoder? Does it include options and trim levels or simply show invoice for a stripper Q3?
It is my understanding that typically Audi's invoice price is 7% less than MSRP. You did not specify the MSRP or sell price, but based on the $33,300 you mention plus $10,000 you mention as well, one can assume your car has an MSRP of around $43,300. Taking off 7%, an invoice price of $40,269 seems reasonable to me.
Please tell us where you are located and a bit more about the trim level, options, etc. on the car. It would help when posting here to have your country/state/region and vehicle identified in your signature so that replies can be better tailored to where you are, since this is a worldwide forum.

The VIN decoder I used is the one on this site under the Tools menu. I assume it is accurate. It does say it is a Q3 Prestige All Wheel Drive. Since it is the Prestige trim, the only package that's not included is the Sports Package, black cloth headliner, and the balsamic inlay.

I have the metallic color, which the decoder did not specify the color. Reading the vehicle details sheet, it included the AMI, Audi Connect, Lightning Cable, Audi Quattro Guard Protection Kit, Homelink, Prestige Package.

The decoder shows an MSRP of $35,800 and invoice of $33,294, and Dest $925. The vehicle details sheet showed the MSRP amount of $0. It was probably on the salesperson's worksheet, but they said they are not allowed to let the customer take it. I was quoted $44,633 out the door which included all the above, dest charge, title, docs, plates, all taxes (tax @ 9.5%), etc. I live in Chicago, IL.

BTW, I was told the Audi Quattro Guard Protection Kit included the 4 all-weather mats, which I was quoted approx $600, which is very expensive. If it's $600 for 4 mats, I will try to have them either remove or reduce the price since it only cost $200 for the 4 piece mat. Anyone knows what it includes? Also, since the vehicle is in transit, can I opt out of the Homelink? I was told they got confirmation it would not be installed, but when I inquired again, they said they are checking to make sure since it is a port installed option. Anyone knows the value of the Homelink? I have no interest in the Homelink, and would like the price adjusted if it would not be installed.
