Default New 2015 Q3

Just bought a 2015 Q3 and getting it in Oct.

Two of the features that we really wanted aren't available and that it a homelink system and memory seats.

I really wonder if the memory module from a Q5 would work on the Q3?

Also, if the Gentex homelink mirror could replace the existing mirror?

Robot Check Robot Check

Lets hope the postings begin. Otherwise it's going to be lonely here.

When I took my SQ5 in for its 5K service last week, they were unloading five of them at the stealership. They unwrapped one for me and the ***-end on those things is...well, sexy. We're thinking about getting one for the wife.

That mirror looks like a good solution, so long as there's not more to the homelink than just what fits in the mirror. However, I'm sure there's more to the memory seats than meets the eye. I think we'll skip the extended warranty, because I'm sure there will be some tuning to be done to get that engine to where their other 2.0t's are.

It sure looks nice. I haven't sat in one yet, but from the spec's on the AoA site it would seem very tight for me. I am 6'2" and weight 205. The AoA site says headroom of 36.9" and legroom of 39.9" - this is way tighter than any car I have ever been in besides a sports car like my bud's Pantera.
For comparison, the Audi TT has 37.7”: headroom and 41.1” legroom.
Seriously, is the Q3 really that tight?

I didn't think so, but then again I'm 5'8" and 210.

Please re-read your post and tell me if you intended to imply anything about your wife's anatomy. Maybe it's just me, butt

I am 6'4" and weight 250. I found the car roomy enough in the front seats. There was also a lot of headroom in the back, but not much leg room...

Boy, now this really pisses me off. I called the dealer today for an update. Claims that he called me 2 weeks and left a message (I think not). Anyway, the Q3 that was supposed to be in around 10/22 was grabbed by another dealer (hence the BS voice mail from 2 weeks ago).

Now they had to actually order me a Q3 and claims it won't be in until the end of Nov, which I doubt will be on time.
