Default new q3 owner question

Just got my new q3 and I'm really liking it; however, there's something that I can't figure out. Is it possible to turn off the MMI display while still listening to the radio? The screen can be distracting at night and would like it off but not the music that's playing.

I tried to find an answer to this before posting in the owner's manual and online but cannot find an answer for this model. Some answers say that there's a setting in the MMISetup menu, but all I find there is the option to dim the screen, which is nice, but not what I'm looking for.

Any info would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks

I've had my Q3 for 10 months, and I dont think there is a way to turn it off. (It is the heart of operation). The MMI has never bothered me at night. Maybe I'm used to it. I would feel disconcerted if it was off, as I jump around in it's display modes. (Jumping from map to radio back to map to see traffic ahead, to phone). Maybe it's a personal thing.

Thank you miTTch, I just also just heard back from the dealer and they also said the same thing. Weird that they don't have have that feature.

You can purchase the folding MMI kit. This would solve your problem.
