TSB 2030465/10? In my Q3 with dead battery?
Hi all,
I'm clueless about the mechanics of cars and was hoping someone could help me understand what's happening with my 2015 Q3.
Car went in for 15k mile service 2 weeks ago. No issues.
Last week, I started having battery issues (car wasn't starting, and driving around after a jump was not charging the battery). I took it to the dealership and they told me the battery had "multiple faults indicating low voltage." They also "performed battery charge test with GRX-3000VAS and found battery defective."
They replaced the battery - with a Volkswagen battery. Is that weird or cause for concern?
They also installed a software update "as per TSB 2030465/10." I can't find any information about that TSB anywhere online. Why wasn't it applied during my car's service? And does it even apply to Q3s?
Thanks all!
