09 Q5 headlight question
My sister's Q5 developed a strange headlight issue. When the car is turned on, the headlight comes on as expected but goes out after 5-10 minutes while the car is running. This is only occurring on driver side only.
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the ballast is failing/failed. Is there a bulb out indicator? A VCDS scan will help diagnose the issue. Does not sound like the bulb but could be. If it is the ballast overheating and shutting down the winter weather may "fix" temporarily.
