Default 09 SQ5 proximity key

So I recently picked up an 09 SQ5 Prestige for my wife but it did not come with proximity key entry. How hard is it to get installed and about how much am I looking to pay? Is it worth it? I have it on my Infiniti and have become accustomed to just leaving my keys in my pocket. I know it's lazy, but it's a nice option to have.

spijun will probably chime in at some point today, but I'm guessing it will cost you a couple grand to put in aftermarket and might screw up some of your other electronics while you're at it.

SQ5 2009

Anything is possible but too complicated and expensive

09 Q5 Prestige S-Line...guess it would be called advance key...basically just the buttons on the door handles that will unlock the door without using the buttons on the keys. Figured it might be expensive, but thought maybe it would just be re[placing the door handles and connecting into an existing wiring harness...sounds like no

It's not just replacing the door handles, how you think.
It is much a more complex system

It's one of the few features I miss on my Mazda CX-9 that I don't have on my '11 P+. Three months on and I still leave my key in my pocket about 10% of the time!
