2011 Nav "Follow Me" Mode?
To date, I never use the Navigation system, even for new local areas I haven't been to before -- it's easier to use my mobile devices...
...AND, because in the past, I could never figure out a way to get the nav to just show my current position WHEN no address is entered.
Must it ALWAYS have a destination to work? Is there no way to enable it to always show my current relative position on the map as I drive without manually moving the screen? Seems an obvious missing feature if so.
Please share your thoughts.

I thought when the nav was turned on, with no destination input, it always shows your location and direction of travel. It could be just a setting that needs to be changed.

Two options
1) click the button that says "Map". Mine is the lower-right soft menu button when you are looking at the "enter a destination" screen
2) click the hands free voice recognition button on your steering wheel, wait for the beep, then say "Map"
I can take pictures if it would help. Nav is an expensive option to not get your money out of. I bought it partly for the backup cameras.

Thanks ... I'll give it a try. +1
Regarding not RTFM, I bought the car used and it was absent. I've figured everything else about it on my own but this one had me dunced. I knew my fellow, friendly, considerate, helpful Audiworld friends could help! (just a little poke Reg!) LOL
