You could always order a couple of months before your lease expires I would imagine? This way you're more likely to get the exact specs you're looking for. Food for thought!

Congrats! I know we both chatted a lot about whether to go for this one or wait for the redesign. Which dealer did you go with and what kind of discount were you able to negotiate in the end?

I will probably do that. Just curious, did you test drive a Q5 3.0 as well? Obviously you chose the SQ5, but what were the strengths of the SQ5 that helped make the decision for you?

The SQ5 does cost more, but you also get more standard equipment. Similarly equipped the SQ5 is about 7k more, but you get an extra intercooler, more HP/torque, bigger wheels and brakes, badges, nicer stitching, etc.

I'm actually still waiting for pricing as when I ordered it - Audi Canada still had not announced pricing yet.

I forgot to mention an important detail. My suspicions on a final edition came true. The package I'm getting is one above the Technik and happens to include everything I listed in my original post. The extended black optics includes a black roof spoiler, rear diffuser, black inserts for the 21' rims. Should look similar to the Audi SQ5 plus found in Europe.

I found out my build week will be week 22 (last week of May) wonder how soon I'll receive the vehicle. I'm sure I'll find it the pricing soon.

I run 20" wheels and snows in the winter and it is a tank. We run over Berthoud Pass every weekend in the winter and the thing is absolutely fantastic. Congrats, it is a super fun car!

Hey everyone just an update. I was notified that my vehicle arrived in Halifax last week.

Now the final part of the waiting game begins... any idea for how long it should take to get from Halifax to Vancouver?
