Man, how you are doing that? Driving downhill only?

Yeah, I can't see how I could possibly get 23.5 mpg in mixed driving. Maybe if I lived in a town of 500 with no traffic lights or stop signs.

Averaged 28 on 800 mile trip. Low 20s on average tank mixed driving. It is not babied but no stoplight Grand Prix either. The 8speed ZF keeps things at low rpm for sure and I seldom manually shift, FWIW.

This 28 is calculated or what the DIS shows? DIS is pure garbage.

The best I got on a trip all calculated was 24. Once. Mountains, just me in the car and I had fun. Everyday driving, mixed back roads mostly, less then 10 miles one way to work 18 - 19mpg, 22 if I throw in there some longer drive.
Heavy city traffic and we are talking 15.

Sorry, but we are not discussing the TDI here.

The 28 was calculated. the average mpg figure was based on 12 fill-ups from the same pump at the same Shell station. Just sayin...and I am pleased coming from an FX50 where 17-18 was the norm over 75 k miles.

Imperial gallons perhaps? You should at least fill in your location and car in the AudiWorld Control Panel so ppl know some background.

I routinely get 28 us mpg per tank as well. Drive to work is almost purely highway

At about 19k mi. in close to 2 years I’m consistently getting 17-18 city. On 2 long road trips, (3k + 6k mi.) 23-25. Overall average 20. DIS and calculated always match very closely within .5 MPG.
