My car has 49.5k miles on it and I need to bring it in for failed fan motor while it is still under warranty. Does anybody know if I can get the 55k service done at the same time? It seems like it's better to do the 55K service now while it's still under warranty in case they find anything, but not sure if the dealer willl allow you to service it early. The next service indicator is showing something like 2500 miles. I would appreciate any advice regarding this.

We serviced our Q5 early. I think it was the 45k prepaid service and we did it at like 40 or 41k. My dealer didn't care. They are not going to turn you away if that's what you're asking.

Thanks, that's what I'm asking. I have prepaid and have to go to a different dealer for this service for reasons too complicated to explain. That dealer doesn't have the greatest feedback on Yelp, so I want to know what the norm is for early servicing.

I had my 25k service done w/ 20k on the ODO. The service indicator went off due to the time elapsed not the miles since the last service. It's 1 yr or 10k mi whichever comes first. Shouldn't be a problem if you're close to either.
