ACTIVE LANE ASSIST RETROFIT SUCCESSFUL!!! I would like to give a special thanks to "Robyscom" over at the AudiRSClub.it web site for his advice.
I have not changed the windshield yet and the control module is just attached to the windscreen (As centered and straight as possible). Once the windshield is changed and the system re-calibrated I will be doing my writeup.

Looks like you're making good progress. Report back once the windshield is installed and it's working real world on the highway.

Where did you get the specs for the self-built calibration jig?

Post 36. I took the specs and created a vector image in Adobe Illustrator.

Installazione Lane Assist - prosieguo del thread lane manteniment calibration VAS6430 - Pagina 4

Once built, you must have VAS-PC or ODIS 2.0 with VAS5054A to calibrate. The vehicle must be on completely level ground, wheels forward and in a well lit area. The front of the board must be 150cm from the central axis of the front wheels. The bottom of the board must be the same height off the ground as the highest point of the wheel arches on the fenders. And, of course, the calibration board must be completely level.

Ok, so you built a jig for the board using the dimension specs. Nice job.

Once you are done and have tested it successfully, if you are willing to provide a step by step how-to (for dummies) with all the details including specs, how-to make the jig, board, calibration, hardware and software requirements, etc., I would be willing to make it a sticky in the tech forum.

After changing the windshield, be sure to replace the gel pack with a new one or your rain sensor will not work properly. Been there, done that.

I believe my A6 has all the hardware except the steering wheel stalk to switch on /off Active Lane Assist. So does it mean I need the calibration once I install the stalk and code VCDS?
