My educated guess, based on experience, is the crappy search engine this forum uses. (And that's not unique to this forum.)
If I'm in THIS forum section and I do a search on something? Yeah, the world is my pile of oyster shells. The only way to do a search on one particular forum section, is to do an ADVANCED SEARCH and restrict it to that section.

Forum software designed by an Audi engineer, obviously.(sigh)

i just got a 2012 Audi q5 and i literally cant find the mmi port anywhere, i have checked in the glove box and center console and cant find the port anywhere.

@lukeman127 as previously stated, it should be in your glove box. However, it'll also clearly state this in your owner's manual. in case you can't find the manual, you can go here: Audi Online Owner's Manual (audiusa.com)
