Have you decided to extend your audi connect beyond the first 6 months? The 30 month plan of $15 per month for 30 months?

Yes or No?

My initial thought is
(1) I don't need the 3g hot spot since I have unlimited data on my iphone 5 and can do hotspot from it
(2) google earth maps are pretty cool
(3) I do like the "send to car" feature
(4) Although I could use my iphone 5 or future iphone I was used to a 5 inch garmin which had the "send the car" feature and it was useful
(5) Audi MMI Nav updates are not often and I'm assuming has a fee to pay??? --- If so it the cost equal to $450 for the audi connect?

To bad this forum doesn't allow for polls? Or does it and I just haven't figured out how to do it?

I use the prepaid TruPhone SIM after the free 6-months. I don't use the hot spot feature and I rarely use the GPS day-to-day. I have only paid $20-$30 over the last 14 months.

Yes for me. We use most of the features regularly so it was worth it to us. I renewed on the 30 month/$15 per month plan. I usually don't keep cars much beyond three years so I'm covered thru most of the ownership period.

If AC isn't used much I can see how it wouldn't be worth it to renew.

I chose to extend it with the 30 month/$15 per month plan, as I too use all/most features almost daily...it’s worth it to me (convenience) to have these features integrated into the car rather than on a separate device.

Absolutely. The whole point of having integrated navigation in the console is to avoid brackets and phones and cables and macgyvered dingle-dongles that turn a nice clean interior into a trash pit. I don't want my car to look like some teenage kid's room.
