If you trade the vehicle before 40 or even 45K, its not even close to being a good deal.
But if not, you will need a brake job before 60K, and possible a battery, so the pads, battery and a set of not so cheap wipers at the very least add up to what, maybe $350 anyway, before the extra 10K worth of warranty coverage is considered. Or an Audi key FOB which I had go through a washing machine a couple years ago.

Either way, I'll be paying close attention to this thread as my delivery date approaches. Pictures of my baby on Facebook are going to be way more exciting than most of my friends'....

My guess is that you're being VERY generous. Granted, I don't even have my Audi yet, but I'm betting a battery alone is AT LEAST $300. Right? A battery from AutoZone is ~$100.

I did buy an additional aftermarket warranty that covers me up to 102,000. So I was thinking about ditching the Select Plus and pocketing a refund. But since the other warranty does not cover wear items, the other option would be to get the stuff available under the Term Care up until 60K.
