New stuff this time. We've updated our reliability stats for the Q5 to include owner experiences through the end of 2014. Plus we've added reliability trends graphs. These indicate how a model's reliability has changed as it has aged, and how different model years performed when the same age.
Repair frequencies, in terms of repair trips per 100 cars per year:
2014 Q5 gas: 8, low
2014 Q5 TDI: 62, high, small sample size
2013 Q5: 30, moderate
2012 Q5: 39, moderate
2011 Q5: 47, moderate
2010 Q5: 35, low
2009 Q5: 29, low, very small sample size
We have two additional statistics, "Nada-odds" and "Lemon-odds", to indicate the percentage of cars with no repairs in the past year and those that required 3+ trips to the repair shop:
2013 Q5: 70, < 1
2012 Q5: 64, < 1
2011 Q5: 68, 3
2010 Q5: 74, 3
We'll have further updates in May and in August. The more owners participate, the more comprehensive and precise these will be.

I've attached the new reliability trends graph for the Q5. That big bump earlier in the 2010's run? Water pump. Since we've split the gas and TDI for 2014, we especially need more of these to have enough responses for both.

Thanks, it'll be helpful to have another, especially if we continue to provide separate stats for the TDI (this will depend on whether they continue to require more repairs than the gas Q5s).
Those who haven't yet joined, I hope you'll consider it.

Had a 2013 Prem+ S Line Ibis White 3.0 Q5. Never had one bit of trouble with it.
Had a 2014 Prem + SQ5 Lava Gray Pearl 3.0. Sunroof right track made a knocking noise that drove me up the wall.
Have a 2015 SQ5 Prestige Sepang Blue. 765 miles on it perfect so far.

Sorry, but 6 years and still, let say, not a reliable website to look for the info?
(and why other brands and models are shown if filtered by the single brand/model?)
I'll stick with edmunds.com

As for edmunds, they have none of their own reliability stats, so what reliability information are you finding there?
