Default Best interior for 2016 SQ5 Sepang Blue

Ordering 2016 SQ5. Going to be about 5 months for delivery they told me.

Pretty set on Sepang Blue/Black Optic.

However, my wife and I can't agree on the interior.
I think the Magma Red/Black is sporty as hell.
My wife says, black only. Which I hate.

Not a fan of the Lunar Silver/Black and neither is she (although there is one available stateside I could have right now).

My only other thought is the alcantara combo. It's not bright silver and looks sportier.

Thoughts??

Also I'm getting split reviews on the red interior with a blue exterior.
Am I really in the minority to think that looks sporty and nice?

All the red trim extras (badges/tail lights) on the outside would match nicely.

Leather/Alcantara would be my choice

I'm not sure how to to look red interior with a blue exterior.

I personally like bright colors, but I went with the black leather interior for my sepang, because I thought it looked too busy when combined with contrasting interior colors. Lots of people like the alcantara, but with a baby, I figured leather was the best choice. I also like having the leather on the doors and over the instrument panel.

Also, unless you feel really strongly about it, you should probably let your wife "win" and bank that for something else later!

We have Sepang with Lunar Silver Nappa.

It looks nice, but I'm wishing we got the Red. The Lunar seats are already getting stained.

Yeah. I actually knew better beforehand because my brother had an M3 with the white seats many years ago. They looked very dingy after a couple of years.

But, I felt like the 2-toned seats were a defining feature of the SQ5 and wanted to get them. My wife wouldn't go for the red, however. So silver it was.

Don't get me wrong, they look great. I just know they're going to show dirt over time, that's all.

Only black. Order it with the new diamond stitch option. Other new options are red calipers and new 20" wheels (V-spokes).

Your wife doesn't want you to get the red seats because she doesn't want to be seen riding in it. The M3 owners get grief for the blue/red combo all the time. Any dealer will tell you that is a hard combo to sell first or second hand, be prepared for a non-refundable deposit.

A good compromise might be if you can get the diamond stitch in red like this one

I have the S4 with the Silver alcantara. they have been good for 3 years. 1 stain that the spray that Audi sells cleaned right up!

Just ordered my 2016 SQ5 with Sepang Blue and I did the black black alcantara. My friend said go black and red with the new red brake calipers.
