As noted by all of you, mine squeak every morning after the car has sat all night the first time the brakes are applied, then it goes away. Took the car in the other day for the 5k mile service and was told that was to "remove the rust from the discs", which sounds like complete horsehockey because rust doesn't develop overnight, every night, and my A4 doesn't do it at all (although the A4 is older and might have a different pad formulation since it's way dustier than the Q5).

Bought my 2013 Q5 in December 2012 and never had an issue until Fall of 2013 and about 8000 miles. I live in Texas where it doesn't get very cold, but for sure when it's colder than 60F, the brakes are going to make that horrible sound when I first get going. My previous Audis never did this.
