Costco gas

i wouldn't hesitate, except the lines kinda kill any savings i'd get out of it. say it's $0.10 cheaper per gallon. you might save $1.50 on a fill-up, but then you just wasted away 30 mins of your life. i'd like to think i'm worth more than $3/hr.

Completely agree, especially now it is like 5c difference, but at times I have seen it being 40c on a gallon, so just curious. I used to get gas at costco for my passat.

Just as long it's not stale gas, it should be fine.
I'm guessing most of the Costco gas clientele buys regular, not premium, since it's all about the low price, so I don't know how much traffic the premium pump gets. If you see a lot of luxury cars pulling up, then I guess that's a good thing.

I would never buy there, but I just don't like Costco in general and choose not to support them. Besides, there isn't a Costco anywhere near my house and I don't like having to deal with the crowds at that place.
Also, the Shell gas station nearest my new home keeps Ethanol Free in all of their 93 octane pumps. Woot woot!!

We now have a brand new Costco with a gas bar. with 16 pumps. It sells at about 7-8 cents a LITRE cheaper than our local gas stations. That is 28-32 cents a US gallon cheaper. The premium claims to be a Top Tier gasoline and I cannot tell any difference in driving or consumption using it over Shell,Esso or Petro Canada ( ex Sunoco in our town)
I have seen lines at our Costco especially when it first opened but today at lunch time it had several empty pumps. Now they take Mastercard I would expect it to get busier.

How in the world did you score that?! Nice. I think the nearest all gas I've found is Shell ~60 miles away, and I'm pretty sure they've been perverted to 10% hog feed as well now.
