Rear Bumper Light Replacement
One of the two rear bumper light bulbs on the passenger side went out as I have a bulb out warning on my display.
Has anyone ever changed one of these....how difficult and what size bulb is needed. I looked at the owners manual and it seems like it won't be too difficult?

Adaption 10 > Channel 181 > Convert your decimal number to binary (for example decimal is 65535, converted to binary = 1111111111111111), then change bit 10 and 11 from 1 to 0 (new binary value becomes 1111001111111111, which is 62463 in decimal) > Enter the new binary value > Test > Save
No more errors with standard LED bulbs
Only for reverse bulbs

Bulb Replacement
I think it stinks we have to replace bulbs after a couple years. There is a TSB on this as well. Take your Q5 in and have them replace all bulbs and clean contacts today. There is a contact problem Audi knows about. I did it.

Is there a link to this TSB? I'm shocked because I've only had this car since May '12. Bulbs should last longer this, no?

do you know what bulb # it is, before I pull it out. can't seem to find it in the manual. guess I will take out and take bulb to store... what a hassle... I agree, shouldn't be burnt out bulbs yet on a 2012.
