makyy Couldn't help but comment on your pics.Last summer I drove out to visit my sons in Golden Bc.Loaded up a Bombardier Commander and hooked up to my TDI and headed up into the mountains on forestry roads. Two observations:
1) The Q5 Tdi is a remarkable towing machine.Side by side and trailer approaching 3k lbs.is absolutely effort free.Torque rules !I have an F150 5.0L and I'll take the Q5 anyday.That's saying something n'est pas ?
2) The Commander is an absolute blast.70mph on loose gravel roads like rally racing.Riding a really rough muddy riverbed to catch trout no sweat.Very capable machine.Enjoy.

To TGT:
Do you think this hitch will sustain Weight Distribution hitch attachment to tow a travel trailer?
I just bought a 2010 - 3.2 Q5 a month ago and i am planning to install a hitch on hit to tow my travel trailer.

Oh ! by the way....
My allroad is gone to the Spare Parts AutoWrech. There was more than 230 000 miles on it and the tranny when out...There was also some other repairs to do so, i decided to go for with a "new" vehicule. I must say that I realy loved my allroad and it have been very tough for me to "scrap" it. My first bet was the Q7 with the air susp. but it is a huge vehicule and even the "used" one are "expensives". So i went for a Q5. I will update my signature in the next few days.

Hey AudiQC -
I would give them a call. I'm not sure why it wouldn't based on it's heft, but might be worth asking.
Good Luck!
