Default Do you leave the rear cargo cover on?

I'm curious to hear if most people leave their rear cargo cover on. I had to remove mine the other day for some taller cargo and I'm not sure if I will put it back on - I kind of like the flexibility I have with it off.

Any pros/cons to leaving it off/on?

The pro of having it on is that nobody can see what you have in the trunk. It might also make the cabin slightly quieter, but I'm not sure you could tell.

Another pro is if you have groceries or something in the back, I believe the cover will shield some of the direct sunlight. Also like above, its a great privacy shade as well, as I tend to carry a backpack.

I leave mine off.
Noisy with it in (squeaking), and easier to put in larger cargo.

Took mine off, just seems to be in the way and I am not worried about people seeing in.

Leave it on. I never carry anything in the rear anyways.

Owner's manual says to pull the cover off, fold it, slide the rear seats forward a bit, and store the cover behind the seats. Fits perfectly.

Stays on except when need to cary something bulky. Besides privacy, I think it may keep ride a little quieter too, assuming cover itself doesn't make noise. That was more noticeable in my prior C5 with rear seats up vs. down.

Still have mine installed. No rattles (yet), like the privacy, though I just got a 20% tint so that may not even be an issue. At this point, if I remove it for any reason, it will due to a couple good accidental knocks to the forehead as I've leaned in to place something in the car. For me, the height and incline of the cover when open makes it difficult to see, and I kept forgetting about it when I first got the car.
