Dynamic Mode: D or S ???

So...not wrong?
I'm not 100% on the transmission controlling the engine.
If I put it in comfort-sport, the throttle and steering are still comfort, while only the shift-points are higher.

That might be in your head. I haven't driven a Q7, but on every other Audi I drove with Tiptronic or S-Tronic if you put it in S, the throttle sharpens up.

I drove a Q7 loaner once...too fat for me. I thought we were talking about the Q5/SQ5.
LOL...I was thinking the same thing...it's in your head.
Of course the throttle feels sharper when shifting at 4000 RPM's, even in comfort-drive.
Oh, another thing that dynamic mode activates is the exhaust valves (SQ5 only).

I was mentally in the Q7 forum :-). Anyway, the dynamic throttle response is tied to the transmission sport mode. For example launch control doesn't require you to be in Dynamic mode, either. It just requires the transmission to be in S. Go try it. You can launch the car in Comfort mode as long as the transmission is in S. The engine is in Dynamic mode only if the transmission is in S mode.
