Finally some decent gas mileage!
Took the family from the SF Bay Area to a rental house 150 yards from the ocean in Solana Beach (20 miles or so north of San Diego). Stats:
-1030 miles round trip
-95% freeway miles but some stop 'n' go in LA traffic (probably 90 minutes total, both ways) and some short day trips in SD
-Total gas mileage per computer: 25.2
-As measured via miles divided by gallons consumed: 25.0
-Average freeway speed minus traffic: 75-78
All in all a pretty impressive number for a squat little beast! Cheers.

I picked up an SQ5 last Saturday.... Very Nice. I've been getting over 23 mpg and still having fun getting on it once and a while. I won't complain about that considering the screaming motor in this bad boy.

I know that stretch of 280 very well! I live off of the 280 at Westborough and drive down to Belmont during the week. With that drive into the city, you should get some decent mileage numbers, if you aren't stuck in the commute traffic. ;-)

I'm only getting about 19mpg mostly city driving and 25mpg mostly highway driving. I find that the 2.0T is enough for needs but the gas mileage and slight premium is what kept me away from the 3.0T. Shoot I hope I didn't make a mistake...LOL too late anyway.

I work from home, thus the Q only gets Daddymobile work (school pickup/drop-off, store, etc.). My wife is a "car girl" and her DD into the city is a 2011 Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, lucky lady! Fortunately she has free covered parking at her job in SF.

That's about what I've been getting. The winter gas in CA sucks. Still, not bad for a 4,000+ pound vehicle.

Welcome to the "SQ" club. Those silly numbers don't mean squat to us. We measure ours in smiles-per-gallon.
