Default Fog Lamp replacement to match Xenon Headlamps

Sorry for the rookie question...
Did a search and found info on other Audi's than the Q5,

but the yellow fog lights with the bright white headlamps is not in keeping with the nice features of the Q5 IMHO.

What is the preferred method of changing the fog bulbs out to match without causing issues with sensors, etc....?

What IS the bulb that is in there now?
(looked in the manual under bulbs, lights, lamps... and not listed that I could find.)

and while I am asking - is there a way to have the fogs come on all the time when headlights are on ?

Thanks in advance !
John\\ps this is what I found on sylvania's web site assuming HID headlamps:
2011 AUDI Q5 (With HID (high intensity discharge) headlamps)

High & low beam headlamp
HID-D3S

Fog/Driving light
H11
H11SU SilverStar Ultra: The brightest and whitest light. Up to 50% brighter, up to 40% more downroad visibility and up to 50% more sideroad visibility.
H11ST SilverStar: The brighter and whiter light. Up to 35% brighter, up to 30% more downroad visibility and up to 35% more sideroad visibility.
H11XV XtraVision: The brighter light for upgraded performance. Up to 30% brighter light and up to 25% more downroad visibility.

There is some good information on the AudiForum.ca site for various HID installs, including the fogs:

I followed this guide when installing my HID fog lights and it was very effortless. I didn't even bother removing the fog light grills with this method since there's plenty of room behind the wheel well to work. The bulb is H11. Unfortunately, there isn't a way that I know of to get the fog lights to turn on with the headlights automatically (unless you start splicing cables).

WOW !
That IS EASY !!! Thanks !

The hardest part will be finding my torx set out in my garage !!!
(sometimes easier to go buy another set !)

Thanks for the H11 - now to find the right color...

was hoping there was a software setting with the vag com to allow both on.... OH well, guess I can push ONE button

You can VAG COM the fog lights to stay on if you put your high beams on.

Nice! That guide couldn't be easier. I assume the existing connector is standard?

Yup, that's all standard. If you get an HID plug and play kit, all you do is plug the wiring harness into the ballast and the connectors from the ballast to the bulb.
