Default 2013 Q5 Hybrid 10K Used Oil Analysis

Here are two UOA's relevant to my Q5 Hybrid. The first is a summary of data from all the oil changes/samplings up to 10K miles:

I took Blackstone's advice and changed my oil today using Mobil 1 0W-40and a Mann W719/45 filter. I don't know why the iron content jumped, but I'll see what the 15K sample shows before I have the dealership oil change. It's interesting that they have measured a consistently lower-than-expected viscosity for the Castrol in the engine. Here's an analysis of a virgin sample of 5W-40:

The viscosities are within the expected range here.

To compare, here are some UOAs from my Prius that uses Mobil 1 0W-20:

Note that the viscosity after 10K miles stayed within the expected range. New 0W-20 has viscosity numbers SUS 53.6/cSt 8.36.

Also note that TBN on the new 5W-40 oil (a measure of the lubricant additive package in the oil) is 10.7, but after 5K miles it's fallen to 4.3. In my Prius, Mobil 1 starts out with a TBN of 9.8 and at 5K miles it's around 5.6. It appears that the additive package in Castrol gets used up faster in use, and with the lower viscosity numbers, I'm wondering if the Castrol 5W-40 is a good choice for 10K oil changes.

Now I'm looking forward to the UOA at 15K miles. If Mobil 1 shows better stats after 5K miles than Castrol, I may have the dealership use that instead at the 15K service.

only had one uoa so far but was running at 67ppm on a non-hybrid 2.0t at about 15k miles. May be sending it in for another uoa soon but possible it could be a normal number in general for the 2.0 tfsi engine at this mileage.

If you're worried about viscosity, RL oil (though not officially VAG502 approved) generally stays within spec in these engines (from experience in my previous B8 A4.) TBN's tend to run a bit lower since it's an ester based oil, but being ester based, the esters may make up for the lower amount of detergents (though don't quote me on this)

The image of the report isn't readable. Can you repost with a higher picture quality? Thanks.
