EPC light and 4,000 rpm limp home mode
Last night while driving home, I go through a gentle sweeping corner, step on the gas a bit, and the EPC light and "engine limited to 4,000 rpm" warning come on. WTF... I pull over, do the equivalent of a Windows Ctrl-Alt-Del reboot, and it's been fine ever since.
I've found a few S4 owners w/the 3.0T have had this issue and it's almost always been the high or low oil-level sender bad or "dirty". My guess is the cornering force and oil movement covers or uncovers a sensor and trips things, but I haven't come across anything in search related to the Q5/SQ5.
Anyone here seen anything similar?
