Glow Plug - TDI
I was a bit startled to see flashing lights on the left corner of the Q5 dashboard last Tuesday as I was driving on Highway 17 from San Jose to Santa Cruz. I didn't experience any loss of power or any issues but immediately contacted the dealership who told me that I should have it immediately towed into them as a glowplug issue.
After having it towed in last Wednesday I picked the car up yesterday... They replaced the high fuel pressure pump. I only have 16,500 miles on the Q5 but am hoping / assuming this is a fluke and will not run into another problem...
Any thoughts?
I got to use the 2015 All Road as a loaner which was fun since it was initially the car I was thinking we were going to buy last year.... After having it for 4 days I'm glad I have the Q5 TDI. It only had 700 miles on it but it sure eats up gas compared to the TDI.

I had same problem. Dealer replaced HPFP at ~9000 miles
