Everybody knows that it makes the most sense to put the car on level ground, BEFORE you post the pix bragging about the great job u did, but then again, you are a LA kind of guy...

Lowered looks great. But aren't you worried about how the suspension performance is affected? My stock suspension is awesome, I'd be leery about modifying it. How much stiffer is it?

The TDI handles nothing like just a 2.0 in corners, it over-steers and leans big time as it is the same set up with a lot more engine weight. Believe me, I have both. I bet lowering would help a lot if done properly.

Swaybars will help a ton on the body roll. Eurocode has a set of front and rears, you can use the stock end links. Pretty easy to install as well.

It's definitely a stiffer ride but then again, being an LA kind of guy I do mainly drive in dynamic mode for LA traffic conditions on just awfully maintained streets. About a week ago the wife complained about the stiffness on a freeway drive to San Diego so I switched to comfort mode and it certainly did make a noticeable difference.

And THIS is what you chose to say..LOL.I swear there's one of you on every board. Regardless of the vehicle.

OP - Good job getting her done. Looks pretty good. I'm looking forward on doing mine as well but mine is a 3.0T. I've seen cross info on which one is the right set.

Also no power tools is a huge PITA. So hopefully I'll get my hands on them once I'm ready to do it.

What part of LA are you on?

Hollywood hills. Hence the difficulty finding level ground.

Got mine through achtuning.com for under $300

Agreed on all points made.

I'd be concerned about shock absorber performance with different springs. Shock preload as well as rebound and compression damping are calibrated for the spring, and the comment that it's a firmer ride tells my they're not a good match. But then, I'm a function over form guy.

I've heard that these springs matched with the stock suspension make the ride a bit more bumpy. Is that something you've experienced OP? How's the ride quality so far?
