Default H&R springs sq5 29001-1 or 29001-3

So I was reading that the 29001 -3 drops the back more. So I called h&r they said that's the correct ones for the truck has anyone had issues with the -3 . I still haven't them in box so I wanna clear this up. ECS has -3 for Sq5. Also tire rack. Some people are saying get the 29001-1

Q5. 3.0T 29001-1
Q5 TDi 29001-2
Sq5 29001-3
This link says different for the 29001-1 is for q5/Sq5 til 2014

Screw H&R

I told those asshats to fix the catalog and they blew me off.

I installed -3s and the result sucked. Front 1.0, rear 1.5 drop.

I complained and they sent me -1 front springs to drop 1.6 front. I had to do the work twice.

Any questions?

Another Audizine member just had the same problem. Guess what? He gets to do it again.

Yeah

And his gaps are larger in the front. The picture is taken on a down slope. He said the front dropped 1.2 and rear 1.5.

Oh and guess what. He is replacing the springs.

I sent true side profile pics of my SQ and H&R promptly sent me -1 springs for the front. Fitment is now perfect.

Oh man, this sucks. I received the -3 springs last week (still waiting on my 15 SQ5). I'm not looking to drop 1.5", was hoping based on specs from ECS that these -3 springs would provide a 1" drop to front and .8" drop in rear. Are you guys saying those specs are not accurate?

I called H&R already the right springs are the -3 and basically the gap might be lower in rear but the chassis would be correct that's what they telling me I know people want the gap to look even but is not the gap that should look even is the actual car it's self from the floor so I think I'm just gonna stay with the -3 because they tested those in Germany and are govt. Approved for the sq5. So it comes down to if you want it lower and gap to look same go with the -1 if you want the correct springs is the -3

Quick Reply: H&R springs sq5 29001-1 or 29001-3
