I also just found this stainless steel bumper cover on ebay. I personally prefer the look of the other one, but some may like this one better.

Excellent find - that is exactly what I want. Clear bra will not cut it for me either as it will get gauged by suitcases scraping over the bumper.
My thought of the rubber one that was added to the Lexus RX-300 on the year I bought mine would not do because it has the name Lexus on it (I had forgotten about that). The RX300 from year 00' and earlier had scratched bumpers.

My budddy has a Bumper Badger or Bumper Bully (I am not sure which) velcro'd to the rear carpet and just flips the thing out to protect the bumper when loading and unloading. It can be also serve to protect the rear bumper by adusting the straps so it hangs lower as it was originally designed to do. He rarely parks in public spaces, so the inconvenience of adjusting the straps is worth the effort three or four times year. A cheap solution (under $50).
