Jack pad for SQ5

My Q5 has been on the dealer's lift and there is no damage to the pinch welds... I would be pissed if there was. Not sure about the Q5, but my A3 definitely had pads specifically for the 4-point hydraulic lifts and using those pads for lifting would in no way damage the pinch welds. And the jack Audi provided for the A3 was designed to straddle the pinch weld... so again no damage to the weld joint. I disagree that rolling over the weld joint is acceptable.

I would like to get a jack pad... Anyone knows if the Protech Sidelift Jack Pad works well with the SQ5?

Hmm... I have one of these that I used on my old A4 many years ago. I was hoping I could also use it on the Q5, but I haven't even checked yet what the lift points look like...
