KW HAS SPRINGS VS H&R SPRINGS WHICH ONE RIDES BETTER?
Trying to decide on lowering my SQ5 and adding 22 inch Vossen wheels. I am worried about ruining my ride. I am ok with a firmer ride but I just don't want my friends or clients in the back seat going through the roof over bumps. Any thoughts?

H&R or don't slam the HAS. If the HAS is set to the same ride height as the H&R, I would think it would ride better than the H&R.

I am also looking at some Vossen 22" wheels. Just wondering if between that and the drop of about 1.5-1.75 inches if if will kill the ride. I have 21" wheels now. I think it would be smart to also get the SPC Adjustable Control Arms. Hoping that just going from the 21 to the 22 same Pirelli Scorpion tires that it won't kill it to bad. I drive clients around a lot and I travel on the highway a lot and like a nice ride. Thoughts?

Personally, I think if you are going to be driving clients around I would leave it OEM, unless you want wider wheels, then go with a 20 or 21". I just uninstalled my H&R Springs(for sale in classifieds) and the ride is definitely improved again. I had them on for 800 miles and I just couldn't take the "jarring" type ride anymore. I live in a state where we don't pay state income tax so the roads are not priority number one, and it just got to be enough. My 2yr old daughter now calls my SQ5 a "Monster Truck"
The spring install and reinstall is not too bad for oneself if you are mechanically inclined, just set aside 5-6hours. I did both processes in my garage, only need spring compressor for reinstallation of the oem front springs FYI.

Hopefully someone else who has installed coilovers will chime in.
