Lower Rear Tail Light Replacement Help
Sorry, but I misplaced my owners manual, can someone help tonight. The little idiot light that looks like a lightbulb with an X thru it is on and will not go off. My right rear lower tail light (not the fog light!), the one out on the corner, burned out.
I need replacement number and a quick how-to on replacing. Do I get at it from inside the back hatch area, under spare tire cover, or is it from the outside?
Thanks....and I apologize for misplacing something like my manual.
Chris

If you are trying to get to the lower light assembly (on the bumper), there is a small rectangular cover below the light that pops out. Once the cover is off, you should gain access to the screw that is holding the assembly to the bumper.
This video may help with the removal process:

FANTASTIC
Thanks a billion
Do you have quick access to model numbers for the bulb(s) in the assembly. Might as well replace all of them while I have the assembly out/off.
Once again THANK YOU

Not 100% sure, this is where the owner's manual will come in handy... but you might be able to get info from Sylvania's bulb replacement guide:

While we're on the subject...
My driver's side rear fog light (the lowest red light) is cracked. The light still works - just the lens is cracked. I imagine that I have to replace the whole thing. Anyone know how hard this is to replace? Do I need to go to a body shop or is this something that I can do myself?
Thanks!

I had exact same bulb go out on my 2012. I removed it and tested it with a ohmmeter to find that it was still good. When I put it back in the socket, it worked again.
The light went out again a few days ago, but it is now working again.
Perhaps there is an issue with the light socket?
