Default which Michelin tire should I buy?

I am ready to put tires on the 2011 q5. The originals have 55K mi on them and it's time. The car came with Michelin 235 60-18 Latitude touring hp all season.

The other tire on tire rack which is rated a bit better is the Primacy mxm4 grand touring all season.

Both tires are priced the same. The top one is h rated and the primacy is V (I think)

Which tire are you guys buying and why?

No opinions? Which Michelin tires have you bought and how do you like them?

Never been impressed with any Michelin tire I owned. Most of their tires are overpriced for what you get, maybe with the exception of Pilot Super Sport.

Interesting. I got 55k out of my original Michelins. They have been quiet and smooth.

For what it's worth it appears the Latitude HP Tour is Porsche approved - I presume for Macan. The Primacy is more a passenger car tire while the Latitude is an SUV tire. Both would work on the Q5. Personally, I would get the Yokohama Parada Spec X which is supposed to be excellent and a whole lot less expensive. Out of your two Michy's I would stick with the OEM Latitude.

Then, why would you change?

If these are your only requirements, I think these Michelins will serve you well.

I have never had a Michelin tire that I have liked. IMO, they let go too easily in the wet; and they are horrible in cold, icey conditions.

I have had Michelin on numerous vehicles and was satisfied. However the Conti that I have on my 2015 Q5 really impresses. I will probably stick with them when it comes time to replace.
