I like Scuba and Estoril as well as well Mark, but concerned with the darker 'plus' pkg of the S-Line on the 2014's (with the black window trim, rails, etc.). Which is actually the same concern I have with the Daytona with black accents above.

Two questions that just came to mind after your post:

-So the Q5 (all models) in S-Line will now have dark trim with the S-Line Plus pkg. The SQ5 will have the bright/chrome accents, agreed?
-I didn't realize the 'peeler' wheels are coming back on the S-Line pkg for 2014 (based on your response above)?

Thanks,
-tgt

Correct, the peelers are back. The 2013 S-Line wheels are now the optional standalone 20" upgrade for the 2014 P+.

Are the 2013 S-line wheels an option for the S-line Plus Pkg for 2014 on a P+? If so, is it a no-cost switch? Or do you have get the peelers? (I actually prefer the 2013 S-line wheels to the peelers.)

You're in the same boat as Mark, I believe it was. Unfortunately you can't do PR1 (20" standalone wheels) and PQX (S-Line) at the same time.

You might be able to work something out with your dealer on the side, though, to order with S-Line and separately have the PR1 wheels swapped out at delivery. Or you could see if there's someone nearby who has (or will get) the PR1 and wants the peelers and swap with them.

Still no update from my salesperson. Here's the email I got yesterday:

"I just checked with Audi and they did not update the vehicle ETA’s yet. I promise I will get this to you once I find out"

Default Update 7/1: My delivery week moved 2 weeks earlier to 8/26 - yay!

Maybe this means the S-Line parts shortage is resolved and these dates reflect the current, real, ETA. We'll see. I know this is all subject to change. All of these dates are 2 weeks earlier than last check. It's encouraging though, as this would mean I'd have it in time for my 9/6 1500 mile road trip

Good news! I'll have to needle my dealership to see if they have an update on mine...and pleased that the S-line plus part issue has probably been resolved.
I was told earlier that they have a Q5 TDI that is supposed to be delivered maybe this week...and they'll let me drive it a few blocks just to get the feel of the drive train. It's a non S unit.
