New 2016 SQ5

Umm huh? When I test drove the 2015 SQ5 and switched from dynamic to comfort mode, it was extremely noticeable how the steering became much easier to turn.
Unless were talkin about something different, like adjustable suspension, I know the suspension rebound will tighten up a bit in dynamic mode but that's about it, kinda wish it had the adjustable ride like the Q7 and Macan though.

On a side note, I LOVE my SQ5 and I LOVE embarrassing people off the line.

As you mentioned "Adaptive Damping" which is for a car suspension, I replied that there isn't any on the SQ5. There are however 2 different steering adjustments (lighter or heavier basically depending on whether you choose comfort or dynamic in Audi's drive select) but absolutely no suspension adjustment at all. It might feel like there is a suspension difference between dynamic and comfort, likely due to heavier steering and snappier shifts, but in reality there isn't.

So I was deceived, I honestly thought the ride felt mildly less abrupt when I switched to comfort mode, the Sales rep also advised me that the suspension rebound changes when switching from dynamic to comfort mode, hmmmm I'll have to approach him on that one then, I smell a major discount in price coming my way :-)

Accordingly to this Audi announces 2016 Model Year vehicles and pricing | Audi USA adaptive damping is available as an option for 2016 SQ5.
It clearly says SQ5. Typo?

It's not just heavier steering feel.
The steering input ratio also changes, resulting in quicker turn in which is the typical hallmark of a stiffer suspension.
(Skip to 3:30 for a specific example of what happens to the steering in Dynamic mode)
This I think is where most people (even "professional" car reviewers) are getting confused into believing that the SQ5 suspension tightens up in Dynamic mode.
