Hmmmm, very good math . I got this response straight from the club. Well, at almost 45, if I pay every 3 years $108 for membership, this $705 will take me to about 65 to brake even . Who knows if one will be still there to take advantage of that. My point was that as a already current Audi driver, and four months into the membership, they ought to have given the discount now. Just saying

Ok, here is my update. I did not hear ANYTHING from anybody until 2/24/14. I was promised to be put on somebody's e-mail list (from the dealership)and that I would get 3 updates. Well, I did not get anything . The call on 2/24 - yeeeei, my car had just arrived. Picking up later on this week. So, sending updates is apparently it's dealer dependent.
i got 2 automated emails from Audi Owner In Waiting - one when the order went into Factory Order Bank, and the other saying the car is about to be built. i haven't received anything since.

thanks Steve. i had a bit of a scare seeing the ship make a hugangous loop Tuesday night (it suddenly headed south for about 7 hours before turning around and pointing back north) and a bit of a laugh seeing it make a teeny tiny loop last yesterday.
there are a bunch of GT3 guys closely following it as well. it's been a long 'stalking session' for us from the day it left Emden a month ago.

Any help for a future S4 owner?
Hello all, I don't have a Q5 on the way (though I am recommending my parents shop for one against the Ford Edge that they're leaning towards).
It looks like you have the most lively thread for build orders, and I'm hoping that if somebody here can look up (S)Q5s, they can see an S4. I put in my S4 order about a month ago, and my dealer has not been very responsive since giving me my commission number. Can anybody run this commission number?

If so, thanks in advance!

If I pay the $750 up front, I still saved $514 more than I would have if I just took the 4%. Of course if I wait the remainder of my probation period (4 months) I would bank the whole $1264 ($1214 with the $50 fee factored in).

[QUOTE=angryRotarian;24563106]Hello all, I don't have a Q5 on the way (though I am recommending my parents shop for one against the Ford Edge that they're leaning towards).
That was where I was last year, it all boiled down to a Ford Edge vs. the Q5. Basically the Edge Limited with all the bells and whistles added vs a P+ 2.0T with a few add ons was about $4.5k more, both cars come out very equally optioned. I can say after a year that every square inch of the Q from fit/finish and quality of materials used is every bit of 4.5K better than the Ford. If your parents can't see that let them read this board and compare it the Fordedgeforum.com site and just see the difference. The Fordedge site is completely filled with disatisfied owners and Microsoft bug issues and this forum has very little unsatisfied owners. After looking at the two sites the decision unless money is the only factor should be fairly easy to make.
