I have a 2013 2.0T Q5 with 42K miles. Twice in the last two days the oil pressure warning has come on for 2-3 seconds. In both cases, we were at idle but had been driving on the hiway for about an hour. Oil level is "full." It's "warm" here in western Montana with temps in the 30's. This warning light has never come on before. Any thoughts on the cause??

I think Id be taking it to the dealer. It could just be a faulty Oil Pressure sending unit... or it could be something nasty. Perhaps a VagCom scan could provide some info on what the sender 'saw' that turned the light on.

^ +1. You have a few more months of full warranty left. Get the issue documented with the dealer before you hit 50,000.1 miles.
