I just ordered a Q5 3.0T today! Dealer said should get it end of December. Guess we will see...

I ordered my Q5 3.0TFSI about 3 weeks ago and expect delivery the end of November.
I had my 1998 A4 2.8 Quattro in for its 180,000 mile mx and expected another A4 as a loaner. Got the Q5 2.0T instead, and by the time I got home, I knew the Q5 would be my next car. It's a combination Christmas/Birthday/Retirement gift to myself. Can't wait.

I bought it used in Nov, 1972, and the first week of Jan, 1973, I drove it from New York to Arizona. It was a very cold drive, the worst being a freezing rain storm as I entered Oklahoma. Drove it for a year in Arizona, 8 years in California, 6 years in Connecticut and a year in the Carolinas. It's been in storage for a few years now, awaiting restoration when I retire the end of the year.
