Q5 2010 to FL 2014 front end
Hi,
My 2010 Q5 was involved in a small crash recently, and the bumper and hood (bonnet for us Aussies) were all damaged. Insurance is covering the repairs, but I asked my smash repairer if he would consider putting the newer, face-lifted 2014 parts on. He said if it doesn't fit I'll have to buy the parts off him (I agreed).
Has anyone heard of/done this before? My repairer is worried the mounting points may have changed. I know for a fact I'll need to buy new fog light covers and the new grille to match, but is there anything else?
P.S. will be attempting a xenon upgrade later on.
