Hi,
I have 2012 Audi Q5. All of a sudden, the parking sensors and "Audi Parking System" on the display screen stopped working. I am not sure i this an internal issue or something else. I am also not sure if this is something that I may have disabled and can re-enable myself.

If there is anyone who can giude me on this I will appreciate it.

Without a code reader it is very hard to say. I can tell you that if any sensor does not work, the entire system will not work. So it could just be one of the sensors is faulty.

This happened to me on the SQ5-2014.

The dealer kept arguing that its maybe because of the cold and wait for the weather to get a big warmer.... I kept telling him that my car is in a heated garage.

Anyways, it took three days to order the piece and repaint the sensor ...

It happened to me on my 2013 Q5 3.0T. Turns out it was rodents who chewed a wire. With one short or interupt the entire system shuts down. My car has to be parked outside. I had it diagnosed and repaired at Audi.
