Q5 3.0t 1/4 mile
So has anyone taken their stock 3.0 Q5 to the track for some 1/4 mile times?
I purchased a Chipwerke piggy back last week (still waiting to receive it) and want to go to the track for some before and after times, but was curious as what has been the results from other members.
According to Edmunds, its rated at 14.2@95.8 mph. Anyone best that?

Saturday night on the way home I ran from a roll with a G37 coupe. I was not in sport mode and we stayed side by side until we both let go to safely merge into the lane.
Not too bad
I am likely heading to the track this coming Sunday from some baseline runs before I go ahead an install the Chipwerke

While my stock 3.0T is reasonably quick, it is hardly fast. It isn't supposed to be. My 2.0 Redline Sky stomps it easily, and by several seconds. My 5.0 CLK destroys it. Point being, it is a luxury SUV, not a sports car, not even the SQ is all that sporty.

If your 2005 CLK500 is stock then the SQ5 would win it on the 1/4 mile by half a second which means, by your reckoning, the SQ5 would destroy the 3.0T...

If a couple of seconds, is 2, than several is 3+ seconds. The stock Q5 runs the 1/4 mile in 14.2 seconds according to magazine testing and my own real world experience. Your Saturn is several (3+ seconds) faster, so on the slower side your Saturn runs 11.2 seconds in the 1/4 mile! Wow!
I did a quick search online and a 2003 CLK500 coupe comes in at 14.1 seconds, so a tenth faster than the Q5 and that for a coupe which is likely 100+ lbs lighter than your convertible, thus negating the tenth of a second advantage.
Not trying to be an a$$, but honestly what was the point of your post?
Have you ever actually run any of your cars side by side or at the track to compare, or are you going by how fast each of the cars "feels" to you? I would imagine the Redline Sky feels very fast, simply by the virtue of it being a small 2 seater open top sporty car. The CLK is also a sporty convertible as well, with plenty of low end grunt that surely leaves the impression of being the fastest thing on 4 wheels.
My own BMW 330Ci convertible feels fast as well, but its probably .5 second slower than the stock Q5.
I know the Q5 is not a sport car, but it does have a great motor that puts out impressive numbers, so I enjoy that, just as many Jeep SRT8 owners do with their SUVs as well.
