Congrats on the TDI - great color choice as well .

A bit off topic, but what the devil is "air conditioning tax"?

Congrats on the new Q5. Is that Phantom black a pearl colour option? Thought Audi had changed black options to the Mythos black now for any Q5s ordered after May 2014.

In a way I find that funny, because I placed my order on April 30th, 2014. It is Phantom Black, I wonder what people will think of the Mythos Black, I guess more darker?

Mythos black doesn't come up under a Pearl option, it's just metallic. So I reckon you're pretty much lucky getting the last of the pearl effect black. When I asked my dealer they said there is hardly any noticeable difference. But the pearl effect does give it a touch of class. For that reason I ended up going for LAVA grey (pearl effect) on my Q5. Won't get mine till Sept 2014

Mind you, the 2015 range gives you free tyre pressure monitoring and double glazed windows inclusive as standard.

No problem.

Instead of uploading the images you can include the images' URL(address) in the lower white box, where it says "Paste a picture URL". The site will then automatically insert the image(s) once you click on "insert".

Or you can check out the wiki HERE

That's true, but choosing a colour really is hard. Mine gets delivered to the dealer in a weeks time , but won't be picking it up until September as that's when the Licence plates change for the new year.

Will definitely post up some pics if I can pull myself away from driving it.

Not to hijack this thread, but I also just picked up a TDI Prestige S Line this weekend. Thought I'd share photos of it here as well!

I take it that this is Monsoon Grey ? Lovely colour.. I've also noticed the the front headlight cluster on the US models has a orange corner section which is for the side indicators. We don't have that in the UK , I am guessing that it must be US law to have them highlighted as orange?

No sir, that's Daytona right there. Monsoon's a much lighter grey, nowhere near as nice IMO.

The orange is for the front reflector, which I guess you guys must not need there. We need amber reflectors at the front and red at the rear for passive indication when the vehicle is off (approaching vehicle will see the reflectors). We don't have anything like the reuse of parking lights as an indicator while the vehicle is off, so that may be the difference.

In Canada the S Line comes with 19"? On my S Line they are 20". If you get into 21", tire prices become exorbitantly expensive!

US Federal DOT regulations call for amber reflectors on either side of the car near the front, and red reflectors on either side near the rear. On my other car I swapped out the amber reflector for a clear/white reflector.

Yes they are 19 unless you custom order 20 which is very rare to find. It's a very boring S-line costing $3100 here.
