Congrats on the new Q5. Is that Phantom black a pearl colour option? Thought Audi had changed black options to the Mythos black now for any Q5s ordered after May 2014.

In a way I find that funny, because I placed my order on April 30th, 2014. It is Phantom Black, I wonder what people will think of the Mythos Black, I guess more darker?

Mythos black doesn't come up under a Pearl option, it's just metallic. So I reckon you're pretty much lucky getting the last of the pearl effect black. When I asked my dealer they said there is hardly any noticeable difference. But the pearl effect does give it a touch of class. For that reason I ended up going for LAVA grey (pearl effect) on my Q5. Won't get mine till Sept 2014

Mind you, the 2015 range gives you free tyre pressure monitoring and double glazed windows inclusive as standard.
