I know you can wax wheels of almost any type. But some finishes are much easier to work with than others.
Has anyone waxed Q5 wheels?? Specifically the S-Line 20" 5 spoke anthracite model. I have attached the generic image from the AudiUSA "build my Audi" Site. That image of a Q5, including wheels, is what I have except all of my trim is black, not chrome.
The reason I ask is the finish is, at best semi-gloss. But its almost more of a flat, or matt finish. I know from experience that the wrong wax, whether its in a can or squirt bottle, can be a bitch to work with on the "wrong" surface. And removing it can make for a thankless afternoon.
I am ready to start tomorrow.
Any thoughts or ideas???

I use either Zaino Clear Seal or Ultima Paint Guard Plus on all types of wheels. No issues whatsoever. There are other similar products available at stores. These are both a clear spray that you wipe on and walk away...can be applied quickly after each wheel cleaning.

Otto, just try a small area, let it cure for the prescribed time and make sure it removes OK and the final appear is good.
