It is a designation of models because they all have the same serial number: 8R0-807-285
Exists in a lot of code, and each has its own meaning: 6W3, 6W4, 7x0, 7x1, 7x7, 7x4, 7x8, 4ZM, 4ZD, VJ2, VJ3...........................

Do not understand why you want to know ?

What you really need ??????

You can enter any of those part numbers (without the dashes) at the ecstuning web site and it will give you the description.

The main differences are:
S-Line vs. non-S-Line
Matte vs. glossy
black vs. grey
parking sensors vs. no parking sensors.

I'm currently looking for 8R0807285M3FZ myself .

I ask because I can get it for +/- 90 euro (plus 40 euro shipping) from oemvwshop.com when it costs $360+ shipping here in the US.

The serial number is the one that determines the type and model, no matter where you order it (EU, USA, Africa.....)
